Death Cab for Cutie - Verizon Theater - Grand Prairie, TX 08/13/2011

The venue was a huge four level stadium style indoor theater. The Heineken (Experience) on tap gave me great memories of the brewery tour when I was in Amsterdam. Surprisingly the sound was pretty good. I had an excellent view, lower level just left of center stage. Very cool Scottish indie opener, Frightened Rabbit.

The Seattle indie sound .. Death Cab for Cutie making it happen! Awesome version of I will Follow You into the Dark. About mid set they really were on fire and had the entire theater full of sound. The bass was dialed in for sure. Very cool show!!
